Canterbury in the Community

Canterbury in the Community (CiC) is open to all Houston-area college students and grad students, whether you are affiliated with UH or not.  Our mission is to form communities where students from various backgrounds can support each other, ask challenging questions, pray together, and grow in faith and understanding.

Adulting is super hard, and one of the most stressful things about adulting is managing one’s money.  Join us for dinner and a workshop, which will give you the tools you need to get started.   If you have particular questions that you want to be sure our speaker addresses, send them to eobrien@houstoncanterbury.org.  We will meet in the youth building at San Mateo, 6635 Alder Dr, Houston, 77081.

OPERATION FEARLESS
Do you want to figure out how to make positive change happen in your community? Don’t know where to start?  Operation Fearless will teach you strategies for advocacy and help you identify avenues for change-making in your community.  Beginning on Saturday, August 12, our first crew will be meeting monthly in various locations in southeast Houston.  Contact Larisa Gonzalez at larisag@mifamiliavota.net for more details.  You are capable of more than you know.  Be fearless!
