Ladies’ Night:

Ladies’ Night is a group for young women, which meets in members homes on the southeast side of town.  This semester we are looking at the stories of the women in the Bible who fly below the radar.  What can we learn from these women and from each other that will change our own lives today?

Men’s Group:

The Houston Canterbury Men’s Group meets monthly at the Episcopal Service Corps house for fellowship, prayer, and the opportunity to do life together.

The Skeptics Supper Club:

The Skeptics Supper Club is a monthly small group that comes together over dinner to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds. Join us. Dinner is on Canterbury.

SW House Party:

The House Party is our way of getting together for some quality time with each other.  Bring a friend.  Make a friend.

Dinner is a laid-back communion around the dinner table.  Come and be fed.

Latino Lay Leadership Conference at Camp Allen
6 pm on Friday, June 15, to 2 pm on Saturday, June 16
This conference at Camp Allen is designed to equip Spanish-speaking leaders in our congregations and communities for leadership in troubling times.  The Rt. Rev. Hector Monterroso, Bishop Assistant, will be our keynote speaker. If you are not yet signed up, ask your clergy-person.

General Convention Intro and Strategy Session
1-4 pm at the AD Bruce Religion Center at UH
This session is designed for all those from EDOT who will be attending the Young Adult Festival at General Convention.  However, first time deputies and alternates, as well as those who will be writing for The Episcopal Herald are welcome to attend. The session will be divided into three parts: GC 101 – Hit the Ground Running, Blue Book 101 – How to Read (and Write and Speak to) a Resolution, and Hot Topics.
