This week we continue our study of Paul’s Letter to the Romans. We will be reading Paul with the assistance of Beverly Roberts Gaventa’s sweet little volume When in Romans: An Invitation to Linger with the Gospel according to Paul.

The Skeptics Supper Club: Resurrection Edition, 7-8:30 pm

The Skeptics Supper Club is a monthly small group that comes together over dinner to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds. This time around, we will be asking some questions about resurrection.

Easter Mini-Retreat, Downtown, 12-4 pm
Park at Christ Church Cathedral (1117 Texas Ave) and meet up with us for lunch at The Conservatory (1010 Prairie St, Houston, TX 77002). Our Easter mini-retreat will be focused on the Book of Revelation. Don’t be afraid. The Rev. Eileen O’Brien will take you on a journey through the sometimes horrifying history of interpretation of the Book of Revelation, and following a brief Revelation sing-along (did you know Revelation is a musical?), we will dig in to see what this text might have to say to an Easter people today.
