This is a collaborative effort with UH Wellness and Houston Canterbury. Using Brene Brown’s little book, The Gifts of Imperfection, as our jumping off point, this group will explore practices that can be incorporated into everyday living that help us to deal with those times when things fall apart. Sign up online and get a free copy of Brene’s book. Dinner will also be provided.

Coffee on Canterbury is an opportunity to 1) get coffee on your bishop’s tab, and 2) check in and talk about whatever is on your mind.

7-8:30 pm, The Skeptics Supper Club
At La Madeleine, 10001 Westheimer Rd, Suite 2123, Houston, TX 77042
The Skeptics Supper Club is a monthly small group that comes together over dinner to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds. This time, we will be asking questions about the nature of revelation and scriptural authority. Why might we put our trust in those who wrote the scriptures? What kind of authority should scripture have over our distinctive lives today?
Friday, February 9: 9 am – 11 am: Coffee on Canterbury at Cougar Grounds (UH)
Drop in for a check-in and coffee or some other delicious beverage.
Sunday, February 11: The Gathering @ St. Luke the Evangelist
